We decided to take a side trip to Stowe, Vermont, where the Trapp Family Ski Resort is located. We drove up to the resort and walked around the hotel and the grounds. It is quite pricey, but it was a dream come true for me to see the resort and to see the historical exhibits about the Von Trapps.
