Cape Cod is an incredible spot. The coastline, houses, beaches, and shops give the place a great vibe. We checked into the hotel and asked if there was a free upgrade available. Sure enough, we got a “Yes” and our room had the bedroom and the bathroom on the first floor and a loft area on the second floor with another bathroom, TV viewing area, and an outside deck. It was a great bonus.
On Tuesday, we spent the entire day exploring Cape Cod. We drove to the Salt Pond Visitor Center and viewed the film. We then drove out to Provincetown to have lunch. The downtown area was very crowded with pedestrians and bicyclists, which made driving difficult. We then went to the Race Point Beach and spent a couple hours there lounging and getting in the water. After we stopped at the Marconi Site, Nauset Light, the 3 Sisters Lights, Chatham Lighthouse, and just meandered through some really beautiful neighborhoods. Very fun day.
