We drove about two hours to the Springfield Armory. We had about an hour to visit, which turned out to be enough time. The armory was established by George Washington and was where the guns and other weapons were made up until fairly recently. One side of the building had exhibits on the history of how weapons were made over the years and the other side had the gun collection.
