This was a small park and included a video and some displays. It's located in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island. Roger Williams was an intriguing colonial figure and his relationships to the local Indian tribes was fascinating. He learned the native cultures and languages and in later years, after being ousted from Massachusetts, was called upon to do negotiations with the Indians.
