Today we had the ambitious plan to visit 3 national
parks. Our first stop was
Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Vermont. Driving there took us through some small
towns with covered bridges and quaint downtown areas. The focus of the park is on the conservation
efforts of Marsh, Billings and Rockefeller, all of whom lived at the site. There is a working farm there where cheddar
cheese is made. We bought some with crackers to
have for lunch.
